Free taster sessions & cross training
While there are separate clubs and memberships, we encourage jitsuka to train at different venues and under different instructors if they have the opportunity to get the most out of Jiu Jitsu.
We also understand that life can be quite busy. You might need more flexibility with your sessions.
For that reason, once you become a member of one of our clubs, you can train at any of the other club’s sessions at no additional cost.

Note that non-student members must register with the City / Napier Club.

Edinburgh University Jiu Jitsu Club
Student Membership
In order to register as a member of the UofE Jiu Jitsu club you must purchase a Peak UofE Gym Membeship as well as a the Jiu Jitsu club membership.
The pricing is as follow:
- One-term Peak Gym Membership: £85
- Full-year Peak Gym Membership: £131
- One-term Jiu Jitsu club beginner Membership: £65
- Two-term Jiu Jitsu club beginner Membership: £80
Both of the beginner memberships include the £33 annual insurance to be able to train under The Jiu Jitsu Foundation and the BGJJA. If you already have paid your insurance separately as a returning member, there is a membership option without the insurance.
The Two-term membership covers from September until May, as it runs along with the University calendar. Summer prices are variable depending on how many people are attending and are published closer to the start of the summer.

Napier – City Jiu Jitsu Club
In order to register as a member of the Napier City Jiu Jitsu club you must purchase a ENSA Sports affiliation fee, as well as a the Jiu Jitsu club membership.
Napier Student Membership
The pricing is as follows:
- ENSA Sports Affiliation fee: £20
- One-term ENU Student Membership: £90
- Two-term ENU Student Membership: £120
Non-Student Membership
The prices are as follow:
- ENSA Sports Affiliation fee: £20
- Non-Student Membership: £150
