Free taster sessions & cross training
Your first two sessions at all clubs are free!
Membership at one club allows you to train at all Jiu Jitsu Scotland clubs at no additional cost! Jiu Jitsu practitioners across the region regularly cross-train to get more hours of practice per week, or to experience different venues and different instructors.
We encourage our members to attend whichever sessions best suit your schedule.

Junior members above Green+ level may be invited to attend the adult advanced sessions to be able to train at a more advanced level. This is invitation is at the instructors’ discretion.
Edinburgh University Jiu Jitsu Club
UoE students only
In order to register as a member of the Edinburgh University Jiu Jitsu club you must purchase a Peak UofE Gym Membeship as well as the club membership.
The pricing is as follows:
- One-term Peak Gym Membership: £99
- Full-year Peak Gym Membership: £189/219
- One-term Jiu Jitsu club beginner Membership: £65
- Two-term Jiu Jitsu club beginner Membership: £80
Both of the beginner memberships include the £38 annual insurance to be able to train under The Jiu Jitsu Foundation and the BGJJA. If you already have paid your insurance separately as a returning member, there is a membership option without the insurance.
The Two-term membership covers from September until May, as it runs along with the University calendar. Summer prices are variable depending on how many people are attending and are published closer to the start of the summer.

Napier University Jiu Jitsu Club
Napier students only
In order to register as a member of the Napier University Jiu Jitsu club you must purchase a ENSA Sports affiliation fee, as well as a the Jiu Jitsu club membership.
The pricing is as follows:
- ENSA Sports Affiliation fee: £20
- One-term ENU Student Membership: £75
- Two-term ENU Student Membership: £100

Edinburgh City Jiu Jitsu club
For all adults (students and non-students)
In order to register as a member of the Edinburgh City Jiu Jitsu club you must purchase club membership.
The pricing as of 1 October 2025 is as follows:
- 1-month membership: £35
- 3-month membership: £95
- 6-month membership: £130
You will separately need to purchase the £38 annual insurance to be able to train under The Jiu Jitsu Foundation and the BGJJA.
